Humans are extinct. It was an accident, caused by themselves. What is left of the rainforest they killed has been inhabited by a new version of their old domestic cats. They've evolved into a newer, larger species, about the size of a grey fox. These cats are the cats of the Amazon Rainforest.
Split into four clans, Great Jungle Clan, Great River Clan, Great Air Clan, and Great Fire Clan all struggle to survive peaceably amongst each other while avoiding attacks from the Wild Cats. This gang of great cats doesn't enjoy the presence of the great clans, and they will do anything to destroy them. After all, they were here before their petty clans, right? Well, right... But with the power of MoonClan, all four great clans unite as one under one moon and have thus far managed to stay united as one and divided into four without the Wild Cats chasing them out of their home. Though, their ancestors never promised anything about that lasting forever... What if their zealous confidence of ruling what is left of the Amazon is higher than it should be? What if their belief they'll stay forever is wrong?
Clans of the Amazon is a Warriors-based RPG with the same four-clan structure as the book series. The time setting is in the future, the place is the Amazon rainforest. The enemy? A gang of big cats known lamely as the Wild Cats. These super-evolved versions of their once-domesticated felines have formed clans together, and they work together and individually to keep the Wild Cats at bay. Applications are short, there is no word count minimum (though a quality post is highly recommended and greatly appreciated whereas four-sentence posts are frowned upon), and there is much fun to be offered in Amazonia!
